Texas has been stopped by a judge from listing cannabis extract delta-8 THC in its Schedule 1 controlled substances. Texas shops can now offer delta-8 to their customers .Delta-8 , made from hemp, is milder than the THC found in marijuana. It was being sold in Texas openly until October, when the Department of State Health Services added it to a list of illicit drugs. The judge ruled that the state failed to notify retailers adequately.     Retailers and customers considered Delta-8 legal, and they claim it falls under the Farm Bill of 2018. This law legalizes hemp and its derivatives as long as the THC content is below 0.3%. The state will likely appeal the decision. The most popular cannabinoid on the market right now is Delta-8 THC.
